It was like the movie "slide door", but two segments were not played alternatively.

WWII, I was in a battery which was going to be surrounded by several Japanese troops outnumbered us. I remembered the history, this battle was a massacre.
But our battery were paralyzed out of fear....... but fortunately I survived the massacre.
I couldn't remember how, but the end of first segment was I, as a mid-age, recalled the battle.

Still in the same camp in somewhere China, WWII. One of our soldiers attempted to sell weapons
to allied troops, say British troops from Hong Kong ( because their soldiers are not caucasian nor indian).
Due to bad communication, a short friendly fire occurred and last for a few minutes. In the friendly fire,
I fired my assault rifle but missed target in very short range, for at least 3 times, which means I "saved"
3 allied lives by bad shooting. But I was upset about it because I thought I could did it successfully in such a short range. Fortunately, we got information and assistance from allied troop so we relocated to another site, where we escape the surrounding of Japanese troops.
Here, it seems like my life was totally different than the first segment. So my life afterward curves to another direction. Wearing military uniform no more, as a peasant, I found myself being in the crowd of people escaping out of a city (not Nan-Jing) again because of approaching Japanese. So I played a trick or cut in the line or something, I and my wife(? or my sis, or just a girl) got in a transporting motorbike (like those in SE Asia, can take 5 or 6 people, with only a roof). We crossed a bridge toward "Jia-Yi County" (the one in Taiwan), there were so many traffic that the bridge was falling slowly.... actually the water flow is about 1 foot higher than the bridge. We successfully made it to Jia-Yi County and I saw a Japanese Sci-Fi cartoon evil huge robot-monster chasing people on the bridge.......
what a bad dream...... always running ans escaping............. don't know why I had such nightmare.......... maybe a reflection of my day life......... ></the></the>
