Good Music to Me

on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:14pm

I am a PhD student, living in a southern college town. This town is lovely, people here are friendly, though I feel happier almost every time I go out of town, especially somewhere obviously different from the town I live in. So I would say a piece of music is very good and fun, if I feel like being out of town when I listen to it, close my eyes, and imagine where am I based only on the sound I hear. However, most of the musics people regard as great just make me sleepy after a few minutes of eye closing and attempting to go to the imaginary world. Maybe it is not that those music are not good, because of course I cannot sleep when listening to noise, but that most of the time I am in chronic fatigue. So, actually I have yet no names in my brain to call a good music to me.

Again, on the empirical class, trying to do something to take place of predictable in-class sleeping. I memorize my last year in senior-high, I wrote a short article in English almost every school day for practice, which was actually a part of English exam for college entrance. I was writing for getting good scores ten years ago. Now, though I am writing for nonsense reason, but I still write for myself. So I feel great!
